We went on holiday last week with a visit back to the North East and Granny Lorna got to meet Mirabelle in person for the first time. Auntie Alison and Cousin Lucien came for a sleepover so I’m hoping they’ll forgive us for waking them up at the crack of dawn. Maxi and Miri also got to meet Cousin Dave, Joanne and 2nd cousins Anna and Sophie on a trip to Blanchlands

 However the highlight of the trip as far as Maxi was concerned was his first trip to the cinema. We went to see Wall-e, a tale of innocent love between robot. Maxi was pretty overwhelmed with the excitement of it all and often during the film had to come and sit on my knee for a cuddle, just to calm down. I didn’t mind. Such was the film’s impact that Maxi is already planning to have a robot themed party for his 4th Birthday. I’m starting to collect carboard boxes and silver foil in a hurry…
